Second, Tirana city-centre traffic can be disorienting on your first day. Starting at the airport removes that friction.

Tirana Rinas Airport (TIA) is 25 km from the city centre — about a 30-minute drive on the highway. Once you are in the car, the road into the city is well signed. If you are arriving by ferry from Corfu directly into Saranda, city pickup in Saranda is also available.
